This is a great tool. I am a maintenance guy and I use them for all sorts of things. I looked at the Rockler version, but it doesn't go as high...it only goes to 10' and 3rd hand goes to 12'. Also, the feet pivot all the way around on the 3rd hand and the Rockler one only pivots one way. I prefer the 3rd hand and it seems heavier duty too.Customer Review: Maximize your profits

Fire that lame helper that you have been paying to stand around until you need him to hold something up for you while you tack it, tape it, screw it or nail it. The third hand has eliminated the need for me to have some moron around when installing cabinets, crown moulding or masking off a room with a dust shield. It arrived on 07/17/04.after I cancelled my order through Amazon.com and reordered directly from TOOL CRIB using there 800-635-5140 number it only took 4 days to receive the order. I just finished installing 6 inch by 16 ft. lengths of crown molding completely throughout a house I am building. Working by myself is a pleasure and the 3rd hand support system made this job not only possible to do by my self but much easier then I ever expected. I ordered the 3rd hand to help me with a lot of crown molding I had to install. What a great investment! I got the job done faster than I thought and with no hassle. The foot fully articulates so you can set it up easily from any position to hold the crown mold. It goes all the way to 12' with no trouble. Great product.
