I only got to use this fan for a few days now, but it is so much better than my old "circular" fan I can definitely recommend it. I use it in my office, which gets very warm and stuffy. This fan throws very cool air even in warm environments. Seems like my old circular fan just blew warm air around--this fan almost feels like a little air conditioner! Takes up almost no room and looks nice. Fairly quiet. Great buy!Customer Review: Nice product

This is a nice product for the price. It is light and slim, with nice design. No fan blade is visible, so it seems to be very safe.
There are two levels of wind. I always use the lower level, and hope for a even lower level. Because I used it during the night, the strength and directionality of the wind make me a little uncomfortable. So I need to put it at quite a distance.

This fan is perfect to cool down a small space. On days when the temperatures have dropped some, I love to turn off the AC and open the doors and windows. Even when it's nice outside, it can get very warm inside with AC off. I've discovered that this fan is perfect for cooling off the space I'm in. And, it is easy to move from room to room when needed.

Lasko 4000 Air Stik Ultra-Slim Oscillating Fan
This fan works great because it stands tall (12")& slim and doesn't take up a lot of space & it has two speeds. I have them in different places in my home & they work great for my hot flashes when I need to cool down.

I bought this for my dorm room and was happy I did. The size is great and it works pretty well, doing a good job of keeping me cool. I do agree with a previous poster who said that sometimes you have to hold the fan down to turn it on/off to avoid pushing the thing over, but if you're not too picky, it shouldn't bother you too much.
