Love this fan for the office, doesn't blow my papers around but gives a great breeze, is quiet and doesn't take up much space. I usually keep on low. Bought a second fan for use on the bed-side table. Only con is the power button lights up when in use & is very bright during the night. This fan is great for an office with limited desk space. My fan sits about 5 feet away from me so I was concerned that it wouldn't do the job on a warm day, but I have found the lower fan speed is more than adequate. The high speed setting was too much air blowing on me. The fan is quiet but not completely silent.Customer Review: a great personal fan

This is a great personal fan. I use one in my bedroom, at high speed with rotation, about 8 feet from my bed. I use another at my work desk, at low speed without rotation, about 3 feet from me. They're quiet and gentle, just right for someone who's uncomfortable when no air is moving around him or her.Customer Review: Great Value for the $

I purchased this fan for work which is a large office space. The fan is quiet and is not distracting when in use on my desk. It does not affect my phone when it is in use either. The Lasko 4000 Oscillating Ultra Slim Fan is perfect for circulating cool air in a small office space. The fan easy fits on a small computer desk, circulates air quietly, and has the benefit of a low and high speed. The slim, small size makes this fan unobtrusive. Very satisfied.
