Customer Review: Moves air nicely without too much noise

I've been using the fan for over two months and I'm very happy with it. On high you can feel air flow a good twenty feet away. The noise level is lower than any fan I've owned.
At first I thought I'd never use the timer but it has come in handy. We use the fan in our bedroom at night with the windows open instead of running the AC. Sometimes the outside morning air is cool and we don't need the fan after about four o'clock. Enter the timer. I set it for however many hours I think I need. If I wake up and the room is too warm after the fan shuts itself off, I've got the remote on the headboard. The half hour increments, up to seven and a half hours, make things very convenient.
The learning curves on the timer and remote are very small.
This fan is a little pricey if you just need to move air, but it does a very good job and I think it is worth the extra money.
