Customer Review: Lasko floor fan

I purchased my first fan in 2003. This fan has ALOT of power. You will feel the fan blowing on any of the 3 settings, unlike many other floor or stand fans, which lack power.
Took it to our annual Hula show (Ho'ike) and the ladies were so grateful for me bringing this fan in our changing/dressing rooms. (They always forget to turn the A/C on while we're getting dressed).
I Couldn't find it any where here in Washington State, so I searched the internet. I'm now adding 2 more of these fans to our household.
Love it! Love it! Love it!

It's pricier than a box fan, but the HVB is everything I wanted:
+ Compact form factor
+ Good air movement
+ Quiet
+ Easy to move (handle on top back)
Seattle recently set a record for the hottest it's ever been here (104F). I don't have air conditioning and this thing is about all that kept me and my nine-month pregnant wife sane. It followed us from room to room.
The only con I can think of is that it doesn't have any type of cord management that I can find -- nothing to wrap the cord around when it's not in use.

I bought this fan a couple of years ago and now can't live without it. I'm buying another one so I can keep one in my bedroom and one on my covered patio. It is quiet enough to use while sleeping. It puts out so much air, it offers instant relief. It does a better job than the ceiling fan on its highest setting.
I'm using mine even with our central a/c set at 74°F. I still get hot with the a/c, but this fan instantly cools me off. It blows strong enough to actually offer relief even when outside.
I cannot recommend this fan enough!

We have an old stand fan that we used to use in the summer to avoid air conditioning when all we needed was a breeze. It blocked the whole hallway, was extremely noisy and took up too much room for storage when not in use.
This baby is quiet and just pumps out the air. It's easy to walk around it or move it when it's in the way. It just does the job without the annoyances of other fans. The oscillation is great and makes it feel like a natural breeze.

I first noticed the Lasko at a friend's house this summer and after appreciating how cool her living room was I knew I had to purchase one for my place. This has probably got to be one of my best investments for 2010......not only does it blow cold air but it does not make that much noise and my electricity bill has seen no damage....love love love this product and to top it all off I spent way less than my friend did for her Lasko by ordering mine on Amazon.
