Tools and Hardware Reviews of Lasko 52" Oscillating Pedestal FanCustomer Review: Great Tall Quiet Sleek Fan Summary: 5 Stars
I needed a fan that could be extended high and it had to be quiet and have a small profile. I took a lot of time looking at different models available and am glad to have decided on this fan! I use it in my dental operatory at work because our A/C system has very poor venting leaving my room with poor air circulation being at the end of the hall. This fan is set to the slow speed and it provides just the right amount of breeze at hardly any sound level. I keep it extended at its highest level. It definitely keeps me and my op much cooler and is hardly noticeable in the corner! I haven't used the remote and other options really, but I am sure they would work fine (sleep, on/off, timer, rotate).
Customer Review: pedestal fan Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this fan from Amazon and it is great! Easy to put up, incredibly quiet and very good airflow. I have heat issues and have always slept with a fan blowing on me, even in winter. The regular desk top fan that I have had for years finally wore out and I didn't have a handy surface to place it on anyway. This stands on its own, can be adjusted for height so I can put it anywhere near. On top of that it pushes so much air I have it on Low in order not to get too cold! And then the handy remote means I can adjust the fan speed if the temperature changes, without getting up or use one of the other function buttons.
Customer Review: Fan-tastic Summary: 5 Stars
Super quiet and nice looking. My previous Lasko stand fan stopped oscillating, still works, just stopped rotating, but I've had it for years and it's gotten a lot of use (So. Calif., it's hot here) so I went to look for another, this one is so quiet that you really don't know it's on unless you're in front of it. It's really "cool" air too, most fans don't emit cool air, but the Lasko fans do.
You can't beat the price either, I paid a lot more for a Honeywell stand fan, some years back and I like the Lasko better.
Gladly Recommend A+
Customer Review: Easy to assemble and nice and quiet Summary: 5 Stars
This fan was a cinch to put together with a phillips head screwdriver -- well under 5 minutes. I usually use it on its lowest setting in my office. It is very quiet (I can have a telephone conversation or people in my office with no distraction)and seems to push a large amount of air. Looks nice for a low priced item. Another nice feature (which I haven't used yet) is a timer so you don't have to worry about it running all day long. It also has a remote control for the truly lazy!
Customer Review: Excellent Fan! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased the last one of these in stock at a local hardware store and was very impressed with the amount of air it passes as well as it's quietness. I was searching for an additional fan on Amazon and saw the same one so ordered it and, other than being a different color, it's the same exact fan. This fan works great where space is a problem or where you need something quiet (like in our TV room). A plus is that it puts out a great amount of air and has a remote as well!
