Customer Review: It gets me hot!

I initially bought this heater as a stop-gap when we were waiting (too damn long) for our landlord to repair our heater.
I placed it in our bedroom (with arched ceilings and a large master bath). It made the rooms nice and toasty within no time at all. I wouldn't say it was within minutes like other reviewers did, but I would say it made the room much more comfortable within an hour when the doors were shut. There was a lot of "CLOSE THAT DOOR!", but once it was warm there was more "uhhh, will you crack the door a little, honeybunch....sweetums?"
Since we moved out of that house-of-fail and into a loft with concrete floors and 18' ceilings, this thing has thus become a permanent fixture in the bathroom. It fits in a tiny corner with ease and heats the thing up fairly quickly. Husband likes to stand in front of it, naked. >_<
Disturbing, but I can see the allure of doing so in the winter.
Oh, I also used it to thaw out my toilet when it froze. Neat, huh? Multi-purpose!
The only problem I have with this heater is the cord's length.
Well, I take that back. It's probably a reasonable length for normal use, but I need to plug it in outside the bathroom since my bathroom isn't really designed for plugging in superfluous electronic gadgets. Imagine that.
I like it, Husband's junk likes it, and the dog is relatively indifferent (but he does seem to like hanging out in the bathroom while we're showering. Might be an indication that he likes it, but WHO CARES? He's a dog!).
Oh, and if you have this on in your bedroom, prepare to be dried out. Keep a glass of water and maybe some lip balm, otherwise you'll resemble something that came out of The Mummy when you wake up (Really? I made a reference to The Mummy? How about zombies. You'll look like a partially-decomposed zombie. There. Now I'm trendy!).
Seriously, though. Super-dry.
