Customer Review: Great energy savings device for the master bathroom

I often find that my wife and I turn on the master bathroom fan and lihts, but we forget to come back and turn them off.
This timer is a perfect solution to both problems. It replaces a regular wall switch and gives you five buttons: 60 minutes, 30 minutes, 20, and 10 minutes, and off. After the appropriate period, the switch turns off automatically.
In an effort to save energy, I've replaced the light switches in all my bathrooms and in the garage with these.
The only downside is a very slight clicking noise when you turn the switch on or off, as the relay kicks in. The noise isn't annoying, but you should know about it before you buy.

After years of having the bathroom fan running for hours, even days, the Leviton Preset Minute Electronic Timer solved the problem. No longer do I have to replace or clean the bathroom ceiling fan as often. With the timer, the air is cleaned and the fan shuts off. Great solution. Several people who have come over to the house actually remarked favorably about the fan timer. I am glad I installed it. I highly recommend this product. We have them in the bathroom (shower light), pantry, closets and bedrooms. Anyplace people have a habit of not turning off the lights. Works great, even with CFL (no flicker). Saves hot water in the shower by letting them know, "you've been in there long enough." Saves electricty by turning off lights that always seem to be on. Easy to install, no problems here.

We had just finished our bathroom remodel, and I wanted something a little more modern looking to control our bathroom fan than the twist-knob timer that was in there previously. This fit the bill perfectly. I think these are better looking than competitor's models whose timer faces stick out 1/4" past the faceplate. My wife and I occasionally forget to turn off our bathroom fans so we installed these to conserve electricity. The timer also lets us run the fan for another 10-15 minutes after showering to reduce moisture from steam.
My circuit breaker is 15A with and this 20A switch has four wires, but only three wires were used and it works fine (it was installed by a professional electrician).
