Customer Review: Great but need a few hands to put up(under cabinet)

This is everything we thought it would be...Sleek, modern, easy to use.Makes a noise but not a big deal! and yes the paper towels come off one by one. Only thing is to mount under cabinet we needed to hunt up different screws as the ones they provided would have gone straight up through and into our cabinet so get shorter screws(as short as you can find) when you put under your cabinet. We did not need to put the anchors in. Also it is fairly cumbersome to install. My 21 year old son laid on his back on the countertop, my husband held the flashlight and I handed things to him.A bit awkward but within a few minutes it was up. I purchased two of these holders based on previous reviews. The most convincing review was one given by a bartender. If these holders survived his conditions, certainly I would be able to use these for a long period of time even with two boys. The holders installed nicely, are made of a solid, contemporary construction and work both horizontally and vertically. There are two caveats; the holder does not dispense one towel at a time but as many as you pull off (not a deal breaker) and the holder makes a clicking noise as you roll the paper towels. (It isn't obnoxious but if you are specifically looking for a noise free towel holder, this isn't the one for you.) I am thinking of buying one for every sink in the house.Customer Review: Great!

I read a bunch of reviews before I bought this and was relunctant to get it but I did anyway. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it works great! Some people said that it made a lot of noise, but really people, it makes noise for one second as you try to rip off a paper towel. Really no big deal - I wouldn't call it noise. And it spins with just the right amount of pressure - not too hard to spin and not too easy where the whole paper towel roll unravels. I've had paper towel holders before that when you tried to spin it it would rip the paper towel. This one is just right. I would definitely recommend it! I suffered with an inferior paper towel holder I had purchased at the super market a couple of years ago. I finally had it and decided it was way time to purchase a more substantial holder....so I checked out Amazon.com and located this holder and read the terrific reviews. I determined it would be worth it to give it a try. All I can say is, for one of the most economically priced item (PLUS NO S/H and NO TAX), this particular paper towel holder has an exceptional design to do exactly what it was designed to do....and with clever and simplistic engineering! I agree with all of the positives stated about this product. It is a very well-made, sturdy, functional, and aesthetically pleasing paper towel holder. I have a modern kitchen and this paper towel holder fits perfectly mounted upside-down under my cabinets. It is tucked away, yet easily accessible. It has a clicking restraint that keeps you from pulling too many paper towels off at once and wasting them as I often did in the past. If you're hands are full -- as mine often are with kids -- and you're only able to use one hand to wrestle away a paper towel, the restraint is a great feature to have. It's a great product!
