This paper towel holder is definitely worth the $12! With our old holder, the paper towels would end up off the roll onto the floor after trying to tear one off. You certainly needed 2 hands - one to tear and one to hold the roll so the rest of the towels don't end up off the roll on the floor. With this paper towel holder you only need one hand! (Most likely the other hand has goop on it which is why you are reaching for a paper towel anyway.) It is really great and I definitely recommend it!Customer Review: Ideal for our hair salon bathroom

We hunted high and low for a chrome horizontal wall-mounted paper towel holder for the bathroom in our hair salon & spa. This one exceeded our expectations. It's awesome! I love how it stops and allows you to pull a papertowel off single handedly. You're saving us money because it prevents people from whinging off too much papertowel. Thanks for a great product! I am very pleased with this product. I use it vertically. Once you figure which direction the towels should come off, it works beautifully. I broke down the cardboard box it came in to recycle it and tucked away in a blind corner were 2 white anchors and two screws in a bag. We had already installed our holder with our own anchors and screws so we didn't get to use them. I did order two of these, but have yet to install the 2nd one as I can't decide which area needs it most.Customer Review: The BEST ever towel holder

I don't have time to write reviews so this is a rare occasion but I'm absolutely sold-out on this paper towel holder. It allows me to quickly grab a paper towel with one hand without the whole roll unravelling to the floor. And how many times do you have both hands free when snatching a paper towel? - Never! I try to illimanate daily frustrations whenever I can. It's crazy to put up with something so aggravating when the solution is simple, inexpensive and beautiful. This paper towel holder is simply so good that I had to come and post a review. The craftsmanship is excellent, the design is virtually perfect, it can be mounted horizontally or vertically, and it allows you to dispense and tear single sheets, or as many as you care to pull. The ratchet noise is barely there for a single towel and doesn't bother us one bit. If you're looking for a good, inexpensive, attractive, well-designed paper towel holder/dispenser, this is the one.
