The towel dispenser was very easy to mount, in my case under cabinet but could also be mounted vertically. That's important for the limited space available in our RV. It's very easy to remove one towel at a time and if the next towel rolled a little too far it is easily rolled back into position. It's metal and the workmanship quality looks good, I expect to be using it for much longer than two years for the plastic model it replaced.Customer Review: Does the job excellent

I mounted this unit under the kitchen cupboard and both my wife and I love it! It works great and seems to be built very well. We have not had any problem with cratfsmanship and we have pulled 3 rolls through it. It also looks great and saves counter space. Highly recommend the "perfect tear" as it is a true statement. It might seem like a trivial thing, but reaching for a paper towel and pulling the whole role off the holder, or unwrapping twenty sheets instead of the one you really need is annoying to say the least. This holder solves all those problems. It's "ratcheting" mechanism assures that the roll stops spinning once the tear is made. An changing the roll is so simple that it can be done with one hand. My existing paper towel holder was an old plastic holder and the newer larger towel rolls did not fit well and sometimes fell off the holder. The holder is above a utility sink and when the paper towels slipped off the holder, they would usually get wet and ruined. This holder works as advertised. The holder mounted solidly, the spool holds the towels firmly, and ratchet drive makes tearing off new towels easy.Customer Review: Better than anything I could find in local department stores

I bought one of these last year for the kitchen and I love it. I'm buying another to put near the cat litter box for clean up. Heck, I just might buy two more because I like it so much! I'm sure that I can find another place I could use one, maybe the bathroom.
Only downside, as has been mentioned, is the noise made by the ratcheting mechanism. Personally, I don't mind the audio feedback so much.
