Lawn Lights gives consumers the ability to build a unique and stunning lighting display in only a few minutes. These simple yet elegant displays rival those created with other conventional decorations that require significantly more time and effort, and do so at a comparable cost. This listing is for our 'medium/classic' sets of Lawn Lights, which are made with 36 LEDs spaced 10 feet apart (the large spacing is preferable for this application and is explained in detail on our website). These are made with 'warm white' LEDs, which radiate the same 'color' light as regular incandescent mini-lights (incandescent versions of Lawn Lights are available - please navigate to our incandescent listing). All sets are flicker free (full-wave rectified). Each of these sets covers 2500 to 3600 sq. ft. It's so easy - simply roll the string out and stake each of the 36 LEDs. That's it! Customer Review: a great invention

I ordered one set, set up, loved it, and ordered another. The first from Amazon, and the second direct from the company's website, but the second was fulfilled by Amazon anyway - free shipping and same price.
It's true, these lights are "simple" in materials and design, making them seemingly over-priced. But because they are so unique I'm guessing there are high production or manufacturing costs involved. These are not a cheap string of wal mart lights: they are a great idea, invented by a creative individual, and the company run by that same guy, and I don't mind supporting that!
I ran the lights along a narrow strip of yard, not through a big square, but spaced them as directed, and they are beautiful. Traffic slows and I've had several people ask where I bought them (or in one case, how I 'rigged that up'). My neice said my lawn looks like it was sprinkled with fairy dust; that's actually a pretty good description. Photos do not do justice.
Have only had them a week or two; hoping they last at least a few seasons due to cost. Also, the snow gets pretty deep here, and although I tried to avoid the "more snow" areas and of course where the snowplow might push things around, I'm wondering if they'll be completely buried at times this winter. Even if that happens, I would not regret the purchase.
