We've used these candles in our wedding centerpieces. They make for a worry-free reception, not having to worry about flame. Also, one does not have to clean the wax out of the votives. And when the dance is over, you can take them home and use them throughout the house and even in your tent when camping.

We have switched most of the time from real candles to battery powered. Our lake home has a lot of wind outside and we are tired of cleaning up wax drippings.
