Customer Review: Definitely works, with a caveat

Five years ago, I had landscaping done on my home in a neighbor containing a large amount of deer/rabbits. The deer came in and destroyed thousands of dollars worth of plants and shrubs, even the so-called "deer resistant" ones. The following year (after new landscaping), I applied liquid fence. What a difference! The deer avoid eating my landscape, and everything looks great. Yes it smells bad when you first put it on and for the next few hours, but within 6 hours or so the smell is gone unless you put your nose right up against the plant. Just make sure to spray downwind to avoid getting it on you, and wear rubber gloves. It is quite expensive, but if you get the concentrated formula you can get by with only a few bottles each year. Besides, the cost is minimal compared to what it would cost to replace my plants. It's nice to not have a fence, and for deer to come close to the home without eating the plants.
The only caveat I have is that you must spray more often than indicated on the bottle as a precautionary measure. I consistently spray every three-four weeks. When I forget for about 6 weeks, I'll notice some nibbling. To me, it really doesn't matter about the added cost. I know that I'm still saving thousands of dollars each year by using this product!
