Customer Review: Great dimmer switch, fantastic for nighttime feedings/dipe changes

Our primary reason for purchasing this switch was the arrival of baby #2. We didn't want to go through the hassle we had with our first with getting out of bed to turn on the overhead lights (which were on dimmers, thankfully, but still not easily accessible). When working on our breastfeeding latch in bed, it always necessitated having a little flashlight nearby--huge pain, as we were constantly losing it in the bed and it was awfully bright for the baby.
Quite the opposite with this dimmer switch--it's incredibly handy as we can tuck it into the bed right next to us; the cord is nice and along, allowing me to position it in various areas, plus the cord itself makes it easy to find the switch (we actually purchased the dimmer with a small red light on it which allows for finding it more easily in the dark). Additionally, we've hooked this switch up to our Himalayan salt lamp, which provides plenty of light when the dimmer is turned all the way up (easy to see for latch issues and dipe changes) but is also a much softer, gentler light than the harsh overheads or flashlight. It's great to have the option of very minimal light to check latch without waking baby that this dimmer affords.
Wish we'd had it with our first! Highly recommend it whether you're breastfeeding or bottlefeeding!
