My last thermostat was very had to see, this one has large readout and a back light.
Installation was quick, no problems at all.
Programming was mostly intuitive, a quick review of the booklet and I was back on track.
Want to change the temperature? Touch the large temperature display. An up/down arrow appears. Tap to desired setting. Walk away. At the next preset temperature adjustment it reverts back. Want it to hold? Tap hold.
Everything is done from the touch screen.
Great product.

Received in five days with the free shipping (yea!), and installed it today. Easy to install, wiring directions were clear, and programming instructions were easy to follow.
Really like the easy-to-read, large digital face, and the blue backlighting.
Am a 61-year old female do-it-yourselfer, just FYI.

Really simple to Install with just a screwdriver. Wiring made simple by good instructions. The product itself comes with a size increase backplate to avoid having to redecorate if size does not correspond to old unit. Now onto the functions, really simple easy to program with smart copy function. Large display and numerals can be read from 10 feet away. Touch screen is a pleasure to use. Backlight is bright and clear and makes this unit an absolute dream do adjust in the night time or as you walk into the house.Customer Review: Stylish, modern, easy to use Thermostat... Works great!

I just bought two TRANE 48,000 btu air conditioners for the weather of Arizona (desert) and i bought two Lux TX9000TS thermostats for each one... works great! Excellent look and easy to use thermostat. Four differents programable temperatures a day with seven different days option, with backlit for low light places. The only thing is that you can't set up an automatic start (or off).... (must be manually). The thermostat model was rated #1 in Consumer Report magazine.Customer Review: Just as advertised

We recently purchased this for our three level townhouse in an effort to prepare for the brutal summer heat. I wanted an accurate temperature gauge and easily programmable thermostat. It's perfect! Easy to install, and I'm no handyman! I had this up and running in less than 20 minutes. Recommended if you are looking to replace an old outdated thermostat. FYI: Consumer Reports strongly recommends it. Hence why we did as well. Thanks CR... another great buy.
