Customer Review: Making Dreds?

I am quite happy with this product. It is what I used to make the dred
locks for my predator costume.
I cut the long string into short strips, tappered the ends, and dipped each one into latex for a smooth finish... and then painted them. I also had to use washers and sockets to weight down the ends of the dreds. Without weights on the bottom of the dreds this material by itself looks fake because it is so light weight. The material is sturdy enough to withstand the added stress of the weights.
I recommend ordering at least 2 packages of each diameter so that you have plenty of material if you error in your process.
