only problem is when you have a dog like I do, you can only get two uses out of the eraser mop
Customer Review: Unbelievable Mop! Summary: 4 Stars
I just purchased this mop & refills today...
I DO NOT use mops, I think they are a waste and just push dirty water around on your floor. I do my floors by hand when they need cleaned; but I decided to give this a whirl since I LOVE Mr. Clean products...
Well worth the $13 dollars that it cost me.
I wet it, didn't bother with solution since I'd read you don't have to. It actually CLEANED my floor! I rinsed it every few passes of course. It wasn't a huge pain to scrub things, nor a pain to keep rinsing/squeezing water out of.
I have 2 live in children and a few step kids that are here weekly...this actually took care of their spills and messes that'd been sitting for about 3 days since my last hand and knee session. Removed koolaid stain I'd found under the table and the big patch in front of the door from being a major pathway.
My only complaint is that I chipped out two small pieces of the mop already from only one session of cleaning. I know they are delicate and my fireplace (yes, I have a fireplace in my kitchen) took a little bite here and there...so it's not really a major flaw on the mops part, just mine.
Customer Review: Cleans better than any mop I have ever used before Summary: 4 Stars
This mop out cleans any conventional sponge mop I have used, or frankly any tool for washing a floor. I love it.
I have an old "Quarry Tile" kitchen floor -- with rough, porous clay tiles. This mop is the only one to actually get the dirt off of these tiles. I can tell - the first pail of wash water actually goes nearly black with dirt, and then, if I go over the floor again the new water basically stays clean.
With my old mops it didn't matter how many times I changed the water in the pail and mopped again - there was always more dirt.
Then why only four stars -- the price and the durability. The mop head is soft and wears out quickly - you will need a new one in 6 weeks - 2 months. And it is pretty expensive for a refill.
However, time is money - and this mop will save you a lot of time on your mopping up.
Just an aside, I am using the mop head on my old, ordinary mop handle/holder. I had no problem attaching the Mr. Clean mop
Customer Review: Ignore negative reviews... Summary: 4 Stars
This mop is awesome. It is a very reasonably priced product and it's definitely worth trying. It cleans much better than any other "quick" mop on the market. The pads last through quite a few cleanings and they are available at pretty much every store I frequent. I'm honestly not sure where all these people live that say they can't find the refills.
My only beef is that the magic eraser material tears pretty easy when cleaning off hair and lint after mopping. You just have to be careful and you'll be fine.
The other reviewers seem to be upset that the mop doesn't clean the floor itself. I personally don't expect that for under $20. Maybe if I purchased a Roomba for $200+.
Customer Review: Works fine on a Libman Summary: 4 Stars
Just installed this replacement on our Libman mop. Following the included instructions and using the included sleeve and screw, it took less than 2 minutes. It seems to work fine. It doesn't wring all that well, but that may be our mop and not the refill.
