I wear contact lenses, am fairly active and very fussy about eye protection, but need reading glasses for close work now, so these were a good find (I've never seen them in Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.). The diopter area is a bit small but it's better than it being too big. I'm very satisfied: The lenses are marked to meet the ANSI Z87.1-2003 standard, the design is kind of sporty, the quality seems very good, the fit for me is very comfortable (I like the rubberized temple tips/earpieces), the shape of the lens gives very effective protection, the price is right at under $10 and if my past experience with MSA glasses is any indicator, these should hold up very well. I consider them a necessity when I have contacts in & need eye protection.
