OK, it's my fault for not reading the words "Patio & Window" in name of the product, but I was drawn in by the photo of the lock on the closet door. I was really hoping to use this on the closet in my sons' room, but it was too thick. However, I was able to use it as an additional lock on our patio door, so it wasn't a total loss.
