Customer Review: Almost perfect -- more room for adapter bricks and it would be

This valet is nicely designed and well-made, and the device bays are the right size to hold a variety of gadgets without being too large and sprawling all over the counter. The drawer is deep enough to hold a blackberry belt clip and various other accessories.
My only criticism is that the power strip that came with it should have wider spacing between the outlets for the "wall-wart" style chargers that so many of these things need. I know they had to keep it compact to fit inside the valet, but maybe they could redesign it such that the outlets are staggered across the sides of the power strip, rather than all in a row. Or, bundle one mini extension cord with the unit to occupy the middle outlet, something like these: http://www.amazon.com/Power-Strip-Liberator-Extension-Cords/dp/B000EWVSZK/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1231690449&sr=8-1 I make two-prong versions of these out of lamp cord and replacement plug parts from the hardware store, so we used one of those and all was well. Overall, terrific product.

We have a lot of gadgets to charge (3 IPODS, Blackberry, Nintendo DS, and 2 cellular phones). Our main items are placed into this valet allowing us to have a tidy method of hiding the cords within the body of this unit. A small drawer is convenient to put my keys and pager away.
The outlet strip allows for 6 items and there is a small notch to allow the cords to be exposed for easy access. The workaround for plugging multiple cords is to use a cord extender so that bulky plugs do not have to take up 2 spaces on the 6 outlet strip.Power Strip Liberator (5 Pack) Extension Cords
The finish is good for the purposes of its functionality. Construction is solid. For the price, it's a good value.

I've had this for about two years now and am really happy with it. The small drawer is big enough to keep the essentials but not so big that it gets unorganized. I keep this on my dresser and it's where my wife and I charge our iPhones. I use the top tray to dump my pockets at night (pen, penknife, wallet, cuff links, collar stays, etc).
This is a great way to keep things accessible without having your dresser look cluttered or disorganized.

I bought this charging station after searching ebay and other sites for something reasonably priced and adequate. This one fit the bill. I like the black satin finish which goes with any decor. It also has a nice power strip that comes with it and the drawer at the bottom is a handy addition to this charging station. I would highly recommend it! I was so excited when I got this valet. It's so modern looking and goes great with my furniture. I would like on the other hand that the plugin on the back only holds two chargers instead of three even though there is four slots to plug a charger in. i don't know about any other person's cell phone charger but mine are big and bulky. Other than that works perfectly well.
