The lock works really well and is very solid. There are a lot of reviews written that talk about the fact that it is not universally pick-proof etc, and the bottom line is that I doubt there is any lock on the market that is. If you're not uber-paranoid and are comfortable using a lock that will fully deter anyone but the most calculated and professional thief, then this one works fine. And let's face it...even if the lock were pick-proof, the most calculated and professional thief would find another way to break in anyways.
