We purchased these locks to use on our luggage for a trip to Mexico. Knowing what I spent on the locks I wasn't expecting the highest quality of lock in the world but the locks worked perfectly for what they were intended to do. Which was to simply keep the contents of our bags just a little bit more secure than they would have been without a lock and the piece of mind knowing we had put a lock on them.
The items we received were exactly as described and the color that we ordered. The combination was simple to set and we didn't have any problems with the locks what so ever.
I would recommend these locks to someone who just wants to keep uninvited guests out of luggage while you travel to your destination.

I ordered these neon-colored locks as backup for my other TSA-approved locks because they are starting to show their wear after many overseas trips, and some lazy TSA folks have even started tossing them in with my luggage instead of re-locking it. Therefore, I am afraid that they will eventually turn up missing.
When I ordered my neon-colored locks, I was offered my choice of colors and received the ones I wanted. The combination is easily set, and I expect a child could even follow the provided instructions. I especially like the choice of neon colors for helping to pick out your luggage at baggage claim since so many pieces look alike these days.

My wife had lost items from a piece of checked luggage where one of the zippered compartments had opened (or been opened) on a previous trip. So I thought it was time to put locks on for our next trip. I bought 6 of these locks (3 2-packs) for travel to Europe for a Mediterranean cruise. They worked perfectly. It was easy to set the custom combinations and they were sturdy enough to withstand 3 airports and the cruise line. Many reviewers have griped about the fact that you can't select the colors you get. Well, my problem was that a cousin of mine came to my house and he said accidentally changed the combination, but then he forgot it. I searched in the package and expected to find a spare key in case of a situation like this, but found nothing. A locksmith will charge too much to open the padlock so I can reset the combination. I suggest Master Company should include a key in case people forgets the combination or in a situation like mine.Customer Review: Easy to Spot Neon Color and Safe Too!

I bought these from Amazon and got the neon pink. My bags are easy to spot in baggage claim. I carry valuable hunting sales samples when I travel and my bags are always checked by TSA (note in bag) but the locks are in place.
Very safe.
Every AIR traveler should have these TSA APPROVED locks.
