Maxxima introduces the SDL-60 heavy duty LED Occupancy Sensor Light. This light is an addition to the MLS series of Occupancy Sensor Lights with new and enhanced functionality. The SDL-60 is built with heavy duty materials and is weather resistant. This is perfect for use in your home in traditional applications like your bathroom, hallway, basement or garage, or outside in a sheltered environment such as by the front door of your home, or under the overhang of your garage. (not made for direct contact with rain). With the SDL-60's 18 LEDs this light will give you a much brighter viewing experience than our other occupancy sensor models. This light is mainly geared towards those customers who require more light that the traditional night light or occupancy sensor light. This light can really help guide your way in the dark, or be a perfect solution during any power outage. Best of all using the SDL-60 will help you save energy and save batteries with the 18 long lasting white LEDs inside. The SDL-60 can be used in many different ways. The light comes with a base stand. The stand is magnetic, and also has 4 screw holes for easy wall mounting. The stand itself is a swivel stand so you can adjust the angle you want the light to focus. The SDL-60 can also be easily removed from its stand, and has a magnetic back so it can be mounted on a metal surface without its stand as well. Customer Review: So Far So Good... South Florida

I just got this product, and so far I am very happy with it. For the price, it is an effective, low wattage flood light covering effectively, one corner of my back yard (reaching about 30 feet back). It seems to have good sensitivity, which will hopefully help keep those opossums and raccoons at bay (and maybe deter burglars, I hope). I have it under an overhang. For those who complain it won't work if it gets wet - well the manufacturers tell you to put it in a dry/protected spot! I live in South Florida, so hopefully, the cool weather issues some mention won't be an issue for me. I really love the strong magnet mounts - no tools and it sticks like glue to metal! I would like to see a setting for increasing the time it stays on. But I think the light deserves 5 stars because it does perform as advertised.
Remember, it is in no way a full fledged flood light. The light it provides, however, is impressive for the price. Much better than paying an electrition... and a good light to have around if your power goes out. I'll check back and add more if I have any problems.
