First I want to remark on the quality of this machine as it is extremely well made. For example, I knocked it off my counter onto a cement floor and it just bounced, nothing was even dented or cracked.
I did not think I would be comfortable using steam as it is not the safest cleaning item, but with this little machine it just perks along until you push the button. The pressure is not so heavy that it moves everything it comes in contact with, just enough to penetrate the goop. The machine is very easy to fill and one filling gives over a hour of steaming. When steaming it does not run out of steam, the steam keeps up with the output. Several different cleaning attachments come with it and they too are all very well made. I bought it to clean bird cages, which are very difficult to clean and I have to admit I was not confident it would do the job, but I was pleasantly surprised. My birds have never had such clean cages and the cage cleaning went so much faster and easier. After passing the cage cleaning test I have a lot of confidence that just about anything else will be a cinch. I already have a lot of jobs in mind for it, plus my husband is eying it too!!!!

I just got this unit and so far love it. We have 2 dogs, a toddler and an infant so our tile floors get dirty. We bought it to clean our grout.
PRO- Our "fawn" colored grout had turned to "filth" over the past 3 years. Well, not any longer. The unit arrived Friday and we busted it out during naptime today. I had read reviews that the unit was loud but I didn't find that at all. Both kids were sound asleep through our little project. It was so easy and the tile floors look brand new. The grout cleaned up beautifully and the floor is clean. We didn't need to use our own elbow grease as the unit pretty much did everything.
CON- I agree with some of the other reviews that the cord not recoiling or having a place to wrap is a pain but we just decided to store it in the box it came in under a sink in the garage- no big deal. Also, I have a medium-sized bag that a Christmas present came in and I plan to store the attachments in it. Again, it's not the best looking "system" but it's in the garage and organized.
Overall- I highly recommend this unit and I did a lot of research.

After reading many reviews and agonizing over a big unit versus a small more portable one I bought the McCulloch MC1275 Steam Cleaner. It does a great job. After listening to several OCD types I decided that there were some jobs that needed to be tackled, finally. And, I wanted to be prepared for some new carpet. So far it has been amazing on 90 year old white little hexagon tile. The tile lost its original glaze years ago and has been building up an accumulation of ground in dirt that regular cleaning, and occasional vigorous scrubbing could not remove. The McCulloch cleaned it up very well - about 90% on a perfectionist's scale. It does take a long time to accomplish this task, but I believe after the tile is sealed it will be worth it. On newer tile and newer grout I suggest a test first. I tried it on a tiled kitchen counter and it removed a lot of built up dirt but made the grout soft - not horrible, but a little scary.
Storage of all of the attachments will be a problem, so I decided to keep the original box to house them all and the machine. I think if the box had hand-hold cut-outs it would be perfect.

Believe it or not, I have two sets of twins - age 2 & age 8. My house gets rocked every few days and despite daily cleaning, my floors looked dirty. I did some research and found many positives about this product so I decided to try it out. What I really liked was the fact that the steam never got so hot that you could harm yourself but that it did the job. I have a huge kitchen with Sandy tiles and BEIGE grout. I bleach my floors every week but had not actually scrubbed in-between the tiles in over 8 years and believe it or not, this cleaner got it close to the original grout stain. I did need to use a good quality floor cleaner but it looks almost as good as brand new. I also use it in my bathroom show stalls and on my granite back splash which have a lot of hard water stains - came right off! Another pro is that the machine is lightweight and has several attachments for different types of surfaces. The only downside is the waiting time for the water to cool off before you can replenish the water. For the money, I thought this was excellent quality and would recommend it highly.Customer Review: Works very well on all sorts of cleaning, I don't ever want to be w/out it again!

I did quite a bit of research on steamers before purchasing this one and I am very glad I did because I couldn't be happier. It works great on everything I have done so far, the attachments are really nice and the construction of the product seems very solid and it is easy to use. I literally use it to clean everything now, it cleaned the inside of my stove last week perfectly! I was so happy not to have to spray any nasty chemical disgusting oven cleaner, I just steamed and wiped and the oven is cleaner than it's ever been. It works great on all our floors, cleaning toilets, bath tubs, windows, shining up things like our stainless steel tea pot. I also used it to clean my couch cushions that have had a very unfortunate "funk" on them from my cat for ages. While the smell is not completely gone it did eliminate it more than any of the cleaners I have used before and made my couch look much nicer. Both my husband and I LOVE this steamer it's our answer to all household cleansers and I have used it every weekend on something or other since I bought it. Well worth the money!!!
