Tools and Hardware Reviews of Mice Cube 3-pk Humane Mouse Trap - The Only Mousetrap You'll Ever UseCustomer Review: best ever Summary: 5 Stars
This is these best any only guarantee to catch mice. I have used other traps - but this seems to be the only one that really works.
Customer Review: This product works great! Summary: 5 Stars
This trap worked just as well as advertised. We have been catching at least one mouse per day using peanut butter as the bait.
Customer Review: Best Mousetrap Ever Summary: 5 Stars
The very best live mousetrap ever.I trapped over 30 mice before the infestation was eliminated. But this trap never failed.
Customer Review: A "humane" solution Summary: 4 Stars
As humane as an apparatus that confines a living animal in a small space can be, this is an effective trap that allows a family to see whether the mouse is alive without being too shocked, thanks to the tinted plastic. It does not intend to poison or kill on contact as some traps do, however, if left too long, the mouse will definitely perish. What I really liked was being able to hear the rattle of the trap door trying to be opened so I could free the mouse in a timely manner. Thus, if you don't want your rodent to die, a good idea is to set it out sometime before an early morning that you will have time to take it outside of its community radius (to prevent re-infestation); I believe my mouse came out about an hour after sunrise. The only thing I didn't like about this product was that the trap door makes it quite difficult to clean. I recommend buying a baby-bottle brush if you don't already have one, but you still need to somehow get behind the trap door. I finally shook very hot soapy water vigorously around many times with the door both open and shut until it became clean.
Customer Review: Humane and Effective Summary: 4 Stars
The mouse trap is highly efficient which is it's paremont feature. Being transparent is a secondary plus.
A unintended feature is that once a mouse is trapped it noisily scratches and knows trying to escape. The plus feature is that the noise notifies you that you have a captive mouse. The negative feature of the noise is apparent if you are trying to sleep.
A negative aspect is that a trapped mouse gives off body moisture which condenses on the inside which combined with the bait and mouse droppings make for unpleasant cleaning task. ( After releasing outside I use the full force of my garden hose to wash and then let the sun dry. I haven't come up with a practical solution for cleaning in the winter when there isn't any garden hose for cleaning. Some of the stuff wants to stick to the inside.)
The second negative feature is that the mice will gnaw holes either at the flapper or the adjacent area.
I repair mine by using the aluminum from a pop can for patch material and secure with contact cement.
Overall this is a hands up product.
