Customer Review: Will probably work, but...

I purchased this to replace my cracked Yard Machines tractor seat. The description stated that this was a replacement, but the mounting holes for this seat do not match up with the mount on the tractor. I emailed the seller and got an automated response, and all further requests for assistance were ignored.

I was able to cut out the base out of the old seat since it was made of steel. I used this to make an adapter bracket for this seat by drilling out bolt holes to match the new seat. I was then able to mount the homemade bracket to the tractor. This worked perfectly. If you purchase this, be aware that you may also have to create some type of plate to mount it to your tractor.

I used this seat for the entire season and it is still holding up well. It is generally a good low-cost basic replacement seat.
