Pros
Easy to put together.
Looks great.
Light, compared to pressboard.
Low price.
A pen drawer!
Other items available to match. They need a file cabinet though.
Cons
Corkboard is thin. Pins don't go very deep.
No tips on legs for hard floors. Buy at hardware store, $3.
Mine had some minor blemishes on finish.
No provision to attach hutch($59) to desk. Make your own brace.
Only time will tell if wood was seasoned. Large pieces may warp.
Tips
Use bar soap on drawer slats. Mine were tight.

My wife and I were looking for an inexpensive desk that would last and also look good in our home. This desk fits the bill perfectly. It is solid wood and relatively well-built. The first one we bought had some damage to it, but we had no problem returning it to the store. The assembly is relatively easy, although the instruction manual could be more concise. When we finally got it together we found it very sturdy and very asthetically pleasing. If you like this style of furniture and are looking for a sub $100 solid wood desk that will last then this desk is for youCustomer Review: Love, it, love it!

This desk is great. I assembled it myself in about an hour and a half, but it was worth my time. It has a cute little side drawer and a keyboard pull-out. The hutch looks great with it, and has lots of shelves for all kinds of needs. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and make sure you have someone help you or else your scratch it up, sort of like I did, but no one can tell. This desk is by far a top buy of mine. I actually get had it delivered twice. The first time it came in good packing condition but the top board was slightly warped (I had to sit on it so the locking screws would go in). Amazon resent another one which had a top board with less warping. So we used the less warped board with the other parts from the first desk. Also the second shipment's packing was torn and some parts (inclusing the part we used) were slightly chipped. If the packing was good and there was no warping I would rate this a 5.Customer Review: Just a warning......:)

A wonderful table- just make sure when you put it together to use wood glue (or hot glue or somehting)just to be on the safe side to secure the pegs, i made the mistake and forgot it wasn't held together by much but wooden pegs and some screws and the keyboard supporter fell on my foot.The wood glue helped alot. But not only is it beautiful but very well worth it.I GAVE IT A FOUR EVEnTHOUGH IT FELL APART ON MY FOOT- thats how much i love this table :)
