I have used this product at Seaworld and at San Diego Zoo.
Pros:
- loud beeps
- compact transmitter
- cute teddy bear
Cons:
- very sensitive transmitter button. Slightest pressure applied to the button trigers the system to start beeping. Annoying to other people around you.
- Teddy bears are a bit big for a 2 yr old compared to shoe size, which is where it's supposed to be worn. Hopefully, future versions can make the Teddies a bit smaller.
Overall I would give the product 3 to 4 stars. Definetely adds that extra layer of protection if kids disapear suddenly as toddlers can.

There is not enough explanation in how the product perform here. So I thought this was an alarm that will AUTOMATICALLY beep when it was separated beyond certain distance from its receiver.
Basically this alarm functions almost similar to car "locator" alarm. I personally think it will be useless if my daughter slips away fast and goes beyond 150 ft.
However I give it a three star because it does function to Locate a child within 150 ft BY PRESSING A BUTTON
The sound is pretty loud. Good for a very noisy environment.

I bought it, and on the packaging it states "56 DB" audio not 86 DB as stated in product description...big difference, right? Anyway, I dunno how well it works b/c it arrived w/a dead battery. It said on package that it is a "life long battery" and something like 'no need to ever change battery'. I took it as a bad sign and sent back to Amazon. It might work great, but after that, I didn't wanna risk it.
