This product works ok. Understand that it will work differently in differing areas with less than laboratory conditions. In my area (Okla.) works well, but treatment needs to be more frequent than the directions recommend. The biggest bonus is that you can spray and not have to worry about pets and children getting into the areas before it dries as you do with other commercial sprays and pesticides. Additional benefit for us, it repels the black sugar ants. Yes they are bad in our neighborhood and it was a constant battle to keep them away from house and out of the yard. Wasnt looking for this stuff to work on ants. But this is the second year, spray yard, less mosquitos and no ants! That alone sells me. Yes its a bit expensive, but add up the cost of mosquito treatment, ant treatment and others, makes it look a lot more cost effective. (and you will be hungry for pasta and garlic bread after spraying) For $20 give it a shot.Customer Review: Positive result

So I've decided to try this product out first before making the commitment of purchasing a mosquito trap unit, those usually run around $300-500 depending on which model. Anyways, I live in the East Coast, a little surburb south of Boston and I routinely get these swarms of mosquitoes attacking me in my yard, and my fellow bbq'ers. So I had people over again this past weekend, while I still had a few bites, I must say it wasn't nearly as bad as before, so at least I feel like the label claim was somewhat satisfactory. Straight out of the bottle, the fragrance of garlic is pretty potent, but lucky for me I happen to like that scent. Although that "fragrance" got trapped a bit inside my unventilated garage on a hot humid day, not so pleasant.Customer Review: This stuff is great

A noticeable difference on the amount of mosquitoes on my porch area. I only sprayed up around the house, and did not go far into my grassed areas. I sprayed the concrete porch, siding, bbq pit and cover, sidewalk, plants, wood pile and anything else that was around. Mosquitoes were not eliminated completely but there was only one for where there used to be ten. When i ventured out into the lawn, those ten came back. This proved to me that the mosquitoes were still there, just not coming around the area where i had sprayed the Barrier. Also noticed a great reduction of the number of moths that would gather around my outside light. I had sprayed that area around the door and light. I have used this for the past two summers. I live in WI in a very wooded area so there are a lot ticks and mosquitoes. We have a cat and a child so using a natural product is very important to us. One bottle will last me most of the summer and I have seen a reduction in mosquitoes and absolutely no ticks! My main concern are the ticks. Many kids in our area have had Lyme Disease so I am concerned for my own child's health. I always add canola oil and dish soap to help the product stick better and last longer. I do use another product to repel mosquitoes when we have activities outdoors in the evening, but overall I am happy with this product. The smell of this product after spraying is amazing---it has a very strong garlic smell that lasts for several hours. It seemed to work as well as some of the other more toxic products on the market---however Mosquito Be Gone is still the winner for getting rid of mosquitos. I like the idea of using products that are environmentally friendly---however, with the horrible mosquitos that invaded Galveston, Texas this year, we needed something a bit stronger for our yard. I would use Mosquito Barrier again, however----mostly when the threat of mosquitos is not severe.
