It has a decently bright, fixed narrow flood pattern, in the bluish-white spectrum. Useful for walking at night, and its 3.5" length is great for for cramped spaces. Compared to the $25 Dorcy 41-4275, it's less focused and has <slightly> less power. Can't be beat for $5.50!Customer Review: Can't beat it!

As a home inspector, this light is bright enough to light up dark attics and crawlspaces (surprisingly bright!) and cheap enough that I won't sweat it if I accidentally leave it behind or lose it in the attic insulation! Excellent product. Aluminum flashlight is very light (in weight) with 3 AAA included bateries, a hand strap, small (to fit in purse), and bright (white light) for only $4.75 plus free shipping on $25 or more orders.

I got this flashlight because I needed one for the car in case of an emergency.. The color is pretty, and is very bright. The only thing is it will cut out for a second, but come right back on, I guess maybe I might need to change the battery.
