Excellent little light, I have bought a few for camping and more for friends. Only one caution, when installing the batteries read the markings. As I am guessing this may be the problem with some of the self absorbed geniuses on here who can't get this light to work. One battery goes + side down the other 2 are + towards the bulb end. As far as light goes, this little light will light up an entire campsite with white light and blind anyone you shine it at close range. Having seen the balanced numbers of very positive and very negative reviews I took a chance on this LED flashlight. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones as my flashlight has worked well for over a week. I also bought one as a gift. Fortunately the gift also has worked well. This flashlight lives up to its name 'Super-Bright'. I would highly recommend this flashlight only if you're willing to risk getting some defective ones and dealing with potential returns. Wow - the LED (9 Led's) flashlight is a great buy, cheap buy that puts out a brigh beam. I got the flashlights (20 of them) to give out end a talk I'm giving to my Toastmaster Club. The Flashlights cost less that $3, including shipping.
The batteries it takes is 3 AAA, when you have to buy more. But when you buy the flashlight you get 3 batteries.
And when you press the end, the flashlight goes on/off.
These are great to have on hand just in-case of an earthquake.

This is the best flashlights I've bought in years! Though it's small, it's construction and metal casing make it a rugged little thing. And then there's the price, which can't be beat. But of course, it weren't more than adequately bright, none of that would matter for much. In that regard, I'm more than satisfied with the output of the 9 LEDs, allowing it to light up whatever I aim the thing at, even across the room. If you're looking for a good inexpensive flashlight, this is the one for you.Customer Review: Bright!

I wanted to upgrade my traditional flashlights to LED.
When I first got them, it took a while to get used to; as LED appears a bluish instead of the traditional light from a bulb. But after that, I love the brightness of this small, yet durable, flashlight!
The batteries have already lasted longer than the ones in a regular flashlight with a bulb would have.
And it even comes with three AAA batteries to start you off with so you're ready to go!
