Bought these for the girls to have if the power went out at night. Of course they play with them and end up leaving them on half the night. The batteries last forever( still originals in now ) and they put out plenty of light for a descent sized room. Lightweight and have stood up to a couple of months of abuse from small children. This little light-weight flashlight puts out a LOT of light in a small package. It fits easily in your hand and is made of machined aluminum that has been black anodized. It takes 3 AAA batteries in a small plastic holder... I haven't had a chance to run through a full set of batteries yet, so I can't comment on battery life.Customer Review: Works + Bright

It works and it's bright. I don't want much more from a flashlight.
Based on the warning that came with it I'd imagine some of the inner casing (certainly not the shell, it's too light) is made of lead. This isn't ideal; but as someone who works with lead-based solder, I'm not too concerned.

I'm very happy with this little power pack of light. It has worked reliably for several months now and seems quite durable. i bought 4 of these and 3 worked. The last one was refunded to me and I sent it back. What can I say? They work and work well. I have one hanging on a nail in the wall by my front door in case the power is out, one in my car, and gave the last one to my fiancee. nice size and light output.
