I should have paid more attention to the other review on the size. This seems like a great idea, but the compartments are just too small. I was looking for something to sort recycling, trash, and "food waste" in one place (my city does 3 trash bins outside for those categories), but this isn't practical. Oops.Customer Review: Small

When I received the 12 gallon, three bin item, the box had a very large rip in the front. I opened the container, and saw that there were two very large dents in the front. Looking at the bins inside, one corner of one of the bins was broken off. Also, the bin was a lot smaller than I thought. Upgraded to the larger size (60 liter). That one came in even worse shape. First, there was a small dent in the top middle of the front side, but it was so small, I was OK with over looking it. I pushed down on the right foot peddle, and it wouldn't open. I had to open it with my hands, and when I let it close, it wasn't fitted right but would then open with the peddle. I looked at the right bin, and the handle was bent. I tried to pull out the bin, but the system was actually put together wrong and you couldn't take out the bin. For example, the top black piece should have been put together first, then the operator should have put in the bins so you could remove them. Who ever put it together did this backwards, so you can't take out the bin. I almost had Amazon send me another, but decided not to. I don't want to deal with having to send back a third. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Would have given it 0 stars, but you have to give it at least one. If you still want this, and it comes in a way that isn't what you expect, know that you can return it to Amazon for free. Thank you Amazon.
