A suprising value. I got this to cover a double high "air bed" I bought here on Amazon (review forthcoming) and was very pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of this item.
The top is soft and well padded with a smooth surface that is very pleasant to the touch. Definitely just right for covering a plastic air mattress...grin.
The stretchy side material appears to be better quality than a lot of similar products and indeed can handle quite deep matresses. The air bed in question is a double-chamber thing nearly as tall as a regular bed stands and the side material reached to the base and wrapped around without excessive force or stretching...and stayed there. I've had mattress pads that constantly "crept" loose and wandered back up the sides to join us in bed so this is a most welcome change.
I plan to buy the larger size of this for our normal bed in fact.
It came out of the dryer in good shape and did not shed anything unusual. I like this product and reccomend it without hesitation.
