I read the other reviews first to make sure I wasn't going to be disappointed and after receiving the mattress pad I can say that I wasn't. We put this on a guest bed and made all the difference in the feel of the mattress. I love the quilting and because I purchased it on a Friday Deal I saved about 50% off Amazon's regular price. I was a little skeptical about this mattress pad because of the price. I ordered and received 2 queen mattress pads. I was amazed at the quality and how thick the pad was. I immediately washed them and put them on our beds. I loved the stretchy fabric around the pad...many at this price do not have this type of fabric. I love this mattress cover! I bought a new bed about a year ago and it is VERY thick. The mattress alone is about a foot deep, not to mention a pillow top. I was having the hardest time keeping the sheets on the bed and I hate not having the mattress covered. This fits great and looks nice. Mattress pad fits perfectly on my pillow top mattress. Nicely smooths out the quilting on the mattress. I washed the pad first thing to get rid of the new smell. Had no problems with washing it at home. Really made the difference in softness as well. I love the quality of this mattress pad for the price. The top has a quality feel to it. The sides are made of a stretchy material and so fit really nicely around any size mattress. I have washed it twice and it stands up to the machine really well. I loved this product so much that I bought 3 more in different sizes. One for each of my beds.
