Tools and Hardware Reviews of Nite Ize SB1-2PK-01 Size-1 S-Biner, Black, 2-PackCustomer Review: S-Biner size 1 is perfect for organizing keychains Summary: 5 Stars
I use these on my keychain for keys / items I need to take off of my keychain frequently. My car keys are on one S-Biner, it's important not to hang too much weight on your car's ignition switch. Hanging a huge keychain from the ignition switch can cause damage to the cylinder lock. This could result in you getting stranded & at the mercy of a tow-truck. Anyways, I use the 2nd S-Biner for my house keys, office keys and a small keychain knife I use for opening boxes. I like having a micro-sized utility knife on me at all times, in this case I'm talking about a SOG Micron. It's really convenient to be able to detach specific key-rings from my keychain. I can take off this ring to cut open boxes, letters & other packaging. I can also take my house keys off to run back in the house while my car is running if I forgot something inside. Over the past few months I've owned these S-Biners, I've found them to be built well & extremely useful. These are the perfect size for living on a keychain.
Customer Review: Very handy Summary: 5 Stars
The Nite Ize s-biner, is very handy. I use the every day I have never had them fall off or had something slip out of the wire gate. I've seen reviews and people say that happened to them I carry a knife on my key chain (crkt Riter) and I have never lost it or seen any sign of it coming off. I used them on a back packing trip down south and had to attach a dry sack to the top of my pack, I clipped them to the pack and ran Para cord thrue them.
They can only hold 5 pounds but that's a lot of weight for something that's only as big as a quarter. Over all yes I would recommend this to a friend.
Customer Review: S BINERS ARE TOO COOL NOT TO USE Summary: 5 Stars
I bought some of these nifty clips from the PX at Fort Lee VA. I found if you put your key ring on the middle part of the S shape, you will not lose anything. It is a little wierd, but this allows you to use either end to clip your keys to a belt loop or a small loop made of 550 cord. I use a small loop of 550 cord around my belt and the keys hang down into my pocket. That keeps the keys handy, off the bottom of my pocket, and the S biner does not ruin the belt loops of my pants.
Customer Review: Great for jump drive Summary: 5 Stars
This has been a great product. I work in IT and am constantly taking jump drives in and out. I use this clip to secure my drive on my belt loop. I haven't had any issues, been carrying it almost 2 months now. I am also pleased that the paint hasn't scratched off yet revealing silver underneath making it look cheap. You can even still read the text on the other one that's on my key chain that I always keep in my pocket with my keys. Very useful!
Customer Review: Nite Ize s-biners Summary: 5 Stars
I picked up several different sizes of both metal and plastic s-biners. I highly recommend them. As one reviewer said, they would be better if there was more tension on the gates. I've worked around that by using fabric tape on bits that are going to be shut for a long time. They're very handy for hanging stuff off of molle gear while deployed. I'm even using one as my keychain for now. Well worth the price.
