I LOOKED ALL OVER THREE TOWNS - No one had anything like this product in price or quality. It works just fine for us to control table lamps when you enter from an area that has no wall switch. All you need is to have the lamp turned on and if the wall outlet is controled from a wall switch, be sure it is on. I ordered this product for ease of turning on a hard to reach lamp switch. It works perfectly and allows me to turn this lamp on from a distance as well. The power bar is a little larger than I expected but seems well made and safe. The remote bar turns on and off easily and doesn't take up much space. I bought this remote control switch to replace an old Radio Shack switch that stopped working after many years. The new switch has worked perfectly for several weeks now - no time delay and provides instant on. I got this to turn the "charging station" for my various electronics on and off since the plug is not easily accessible. It works great, altho I'm not exactly taxing the unit much since the receiver is only about 3 feet from the remote.
