Artisan Info: "I am a Balinese woman by the name of Desak Subiakti, I am a homemaker and I have two sons and a daughter. My husband practically works all day long, and my children go to school, so I have plenty of time to do the house chores and prepare temple offerings. An offering includes young coconut leaves that are cut to create figures of all shapes, as well as arranging flowers, fruits, and cakes. "In recent years people have been able to buy ready-made offerings in the market. However, I prefer to make them by myself, so I am very grateful to have the ability to make offerings.
