I used to hate alarm clocks, but I have been using the Zen Alarm clock for about three months now and wanted to tell you how much I enjoy it.
I didn't think it would work when I first purchased it - I didn't think it would wake me up or would be too loud...but it does work and work well. It has been so wonderful to wake up to the sounds and tones it makes. It has been reassuring in such times as these.
I like the shape, the wood and display. Also, since I use rechargeable batteries, it is great that it works very well with them...perhaps a solar powered version is in store for the future?
I learned that Now & Zen now has a similar appliance to replace my other most unfavorite sound - the telephone ringer. I plan to buy one someday when I can afford it.

I just wanted to say how happy I am with my new Zen Digital Alarm Clock! The order was shipped quickly and well packaged. It took little effort to understand the workings of the clock and I am able to set the alarm easily before bed each night. I look forward to waking up each morning. I love the way it eases you out of sleep without the stress associated with most other alarm clocks. I use it to time my yoga and meditation practices and also, as an art teacher I will begin using it as a timing aid to signal the end of an activity to students! Drawing and painting is very similar to meditation and the progressive chimes will help them to finish their drawings without being startled out of that meditative state.

I loved the sound of my chime when I first purchased the clock but it lasted for less than year with intermittent use. I saw the posting from the company founder about refunding people's purchase price but what I really want is to have the clock work. So I have contacted them about my problem and, even though my clock was out of warranty, they offered to fix it for me at no charge. They sent me a prepaid mailer for my old clock and within a couple of weeks they sent me back a package. It was a brand new clock! It works great, and I now have that lovely chime to wake up to. If you do have a problem with your clock, definitely contact their customer support. It's great to have it back in the house!Customer Review: A Nice (New) Way to Start My Day

For years, I have used a traditional alarm clock that makes an effective, though unpleasant, noise to wake me up in the morning. I find it difficult to get up sometimes, so I need to use something that works well to get me out of bed, no matter how annoying.
My boyfriend gave me this alarm clock with the idea of making my morning "wake up call" a little more pleasant. This lovely clock is wonderful; I hear gentle chimes that now awaken me, and find my mood remains calm as I transition out of sleep.
A gentle and peaceful way to start my day. My mornings are now lighter(in many ways)...

I don't typically do this, but...
I received my digital clock yesterday. I felt it was a bit decadent of me to spend so much for a clock, but I have wanted one for some time and finally can afford it. I just want to say that after waking up so pleasantly this morning, after not wanting to throw my alarm across the room, after smiling as soon as my feet touched the floor (and I am not a morning person), I am certain that your product is worth every cent I put into it. I look forward to using it for yoga and any other reason I can think of to hear its sweet sound.
