We bought this when we were first married more than 5 years ago and only recently did it break - that's some really awesome usage out of a $6 brush! It might have even lasted longer if we would have replaced the brush section often, who knows. Anyhow, this is a really good brush.Customer Review: Excellent but needs better brush hold!

Despite reading the other reviews that mentioned leaking, I bought this anyway because it's perfect for after-meal clean-up. I even put in the concentrated dish detergent figuring maybe the thicker stuff wouldn't be so prone to leaking. Well, guess what. It does. I still use is as a plain dish brush, but a grocery store variety would have been cheaper. I really, really wish it didn't leak. The concept is great. I got some solid use out of this--enough to get me to buy replacement heads for it. But soon after I did the small plastic piece that holds the brush head on snapped off. So now I'm ordering another so I can use the replacement heads that I had stockpiled. (The bristles could be a bit stiffer on those heads, but this seems to be a problem with just about every dish brush I've ever had.) I did not have any problems with leaks by the way.
