This is dumb - reviewing a fly swatter? But, I have to tell you, I bought one of these several years ago and was amazed. We almost fought over who get to wield the thing. Hundreds of wasps and flies later... Well I've been looking for another ever since and finally got smart and checked the web. Presto! This fly swatter is by far the best out there, swatted many already, works absolutely great, but I agree with others that the shipping is way to high, this item has been discontinued by the OXO company, but if you go to Bed, Bath and Beyond, you can get one for $1.99. It doesn't get any better than this. I have tried the less expensive fly swatters and Oxo beats them all. It's worth the extra money to get the best. Oxo's fly swatter is strong while still flexible and of course the handle feels great in your hand, which Oxo is known for. I got my 1st one from my husband for Christmas. (Yes, I said Christmas) At first, I was a little disappointed at the gift, but after I had used it a few times, I was hooked! I call it my "Professional" fly swatter and I love it! My husband seems to know me better than I thought. We had a fly population problem for the first time this year. Picked this up like other Oxo good grips products eaiser for my arthritic hands. Big Problem! other members of the household have taken a liking to it so it looks like I'll be picking up a couple more, and retiring the old traditional wire fly swatters.
