I spend most of my time in a wheel chair and am having increasing difficulty bending over. The Oxo Broom and Dustpan fits my needs perfectly. I like the "short" handles about which others have complained because they make it easier for me to maneuver. I like the way the set snaps together and stands upright without assistance. Since my purchase I have seen something similar in the grocery store which was cheaper but lacked the elegant design of this OxoCustomer Review: How did I ever live without this broom!!!!!!!

This broom has saved me hours of back pain and knee pain. I have two cats and I am always cleaning up after them. Be it litter or a cloth toy torn to bits, this broom cleans any mess without strain on my body. I no longer have to bend down with a dustpan and long broom or drag out the vacuum to clean up. I just take the "Oxo Good Grips Upright Broom and Dustpan set" and standing sweep it right into the dustpan. I am very happy with this product.Customer Review: Nice broom and dustpan

I don't know why everyone is complaining about the height of this set. It's no different than any other broom and dustpan combination set out there. It's the exact same height as my old one that needed to retire. My husband is 6'1" and he doesn't complain about it being too short to use. I'm really pleased with this item. It stores so nicely, too. I'm glad I ignored all the complaints and went ahead with the purchase.Customer Review: Sweep set

Good value, as advertised. Ignore those people that complain that this set is short, etc. Those folks who write such comments are not aware that they are buying a "sweep set", all of which are shorter than a normal broom. This sweep set height is just like almost every other sweep set on the market, give or take an inch or two. Buy with confidence, but do not buy if you want, or need a full size broom.Customer Review: GREAT!

I love how this broom and dustpan set does not leave bits on the floor and underneath the pan after sweeping! It really gets everything. I love the ergonomic handles and it's compact enough to set aside in one corner. It is not bulky and I love the silver/grey color. The quality is excellent! This replaced an old set that broke down easily and I had to throw it out. I wish I found this sooner.
