I just moved into a new apartment where there is a large area of bare floor. The problem is I use a power wheelchair and one day I spilled sugar all over the kitchen floor. I had to get out of my chair and use a handheld dust pan and broom crawling inch by inch. It didn't work very well.
Now with this product, I can stay in my chair and sweep the floor with ease.

This is great for my old back. No longer do I have to bend over when I sweep up crumbs into the dustpan.
Pros: The brrom firs nicely into the dust pan for storage and the entire unit folds up. It is small enough to unobtrusively sit in a corner or next to the trash can.
Cons: The broom handle is a little short, but the dustpan handle is perfect.

I purchased 4 oxo good grips upright sweep set for gifts. They were delivered in 2 days! This a great product, can sweep up stuff without bending over, leaves no dust edge from the dustpan, and folds up easily for storage. One of the person's I gave it to, uses it daily. The Oxo Good Grips Upright Broom and Dustpan set is just simply great quality. The ease of use is perfect for my 90 yr old mother. The pan with rubber lip sits tight to the floor so you can sweep right in rather than under like many other dust pans. The broom stores inside the pan when flipped up and this makes hanging it from the wall easy. Highly recommended!Customer Review: Well made, saves time and saves your back

I guess I'm the kind of person who can get excited about a good broom / dustpan! Hey it's the little things in life that make us happy. This is a sturdy upright set, with comfortable handles, and it's the only sweep set I've ever used that doesn't leave that little annoying "line" of dirt. I'm 5'8" and don't have to stoop to use it.
