Customer Review: M20- Great Tactical Light

The M20 PREMIUM (R2 LED) is a great tactical light for military, law enforcement, and outdoor enthusiasts. I do not recommend it for everyday carry because its sharp edges might tear your clothes, and the sheath is a bit bulky, but it works great as a tactical light or to take with you on a camping trip.
PROs:
* R2 Cree Led is VERY bright, offering 250 lumens of cool LED light with a bit less of a blue tint as traditional LEDs.
* Can run on rechargeable batteries, or CR123A's. For rechargeable, use a single 18650 battery.
*Has 4 modes: Low, medium, high, and strobe
*Has strike bezels in the front and back, which you can remove if you wish.
* Strike bezel combined with the 250 lumen strobe is great for self-defense.
* Has a decent clip, which can also be removed. Also has a cigar hold, which you can remove if you wish.
*Anti-roll design.
*Good peripheral light.
*Has a far throw, however, if you want an even farther throw, consider purchasing the smooth reflector.
*Comes in a nice box with extra accessories (lanyard, battery cartridge to keep 123A's from rattling in tube, sheath).
*The sheath allows you to carry extra batteries, and it has quick release velcro belt loop.
*Momentary on and constant on modes.
CONs:
*The sheath IS a bit bulky, not for everyday carry, but good for the outdoors, hunting, or law enforcement.
* The strobe is a bit slow compared to my Fenix light, my Gladius, and the new Streamlight Stinger Led DS.
* To cycle through the four modes, you have to turn on the flashlight completely and then rotate the head of the flashlight. This might be a bit cumbersome, especially in tactical situations when you might need to switch from low mode to high mode. The good thing is that the flashlight remembers your last mode and stays there even if you turn it off.
Overall there are not that many flaws with this light. Very impressive, and the price is not too high as compared to the other big brands. I highly recommend this light, Fenix and Olight are some of the best Chinese lights hitting the market right now.
Don't forget extra accessories for this light that you can find online: the green lens and the red lens shoot an awesome beam, and the smooth filter greatly enhances the throw!
