There are a lot of reviews saying this thing is TINY, it's not that small. It stands roughly 14" tall and 10" wide, and puts out well more heat than a traditional space heater of three to four times the wattage.
It's very easy to use, no maintenance necessary, absolutely quiet, powerful, precise heat directionality, and heats up very quickly (within 30sec).
The good: powerful, efficient, precise;y targetable, quiet, safe.
The bad: can be a bit bright to have facing you while you sleep, I just aim mine below eye level in my direction and let convection do the rest.

This is a personal heater which saves you electricity cost. Since most space heaters are almost 100% efficient already, the only way to save more electricity cost is heat the space or things you only needed to heat in the house. This heater does its job to heat the object or person directly. The heating area is small, so this is definitely a personal heater. I am using 2 of this in my computer room in winter and set the central heat at low. Another thing is this heater has no moving part, and it has no heating bulb unlike some of the radiant heaters which uses halogen bulbs, so it cuts down maintenance fee in a long run.Customer Review: Gorgeous little heater

I wanted a quiet heater for two things: To warm my face and hands while I sleep, and not run up my electricity bill. Other model dish heaters are too bright even on low 400 watt settings. Those are fine during the day time, but at night time it's like trying to sleep in the summer sun.
This heater needs to be at least 3 feet, or maybe 4 feet away or else it gets uncomfortably warm until my cat finds it, then she parks in front of it and blocks all the heat.
300 watts means it's the most economical heater on the planet, and now it's gone scarce on Amazon. I hope mine never breaks.

This heater is AWESOME. My feet are always freezing at work, and I needed something that would keep me warm (and therefore working!) yet not be too loud or radiate too much heat (I work in a cubicle environment). Every other heater I could find was huge, had a fan (the noise wouldn't go over well w/ my colleagues), or crazy $$$. This hit every mark. It's absolutely silent with an easy on-off switch I can turn with my toes, and it's the perfect temperature (a lot of other heaters are just not warm enough for me). Winter came around and I just needed to snatch something off the shelf to keep warm. I was really excited when amazon shipped this cute little fan look alike in my direction! Sadly it can't really rotate positions, or fill a whole entire room with heat. Though it is incredible on how fast it will heat up right in front of you! I put this right next to my bed so I can get more comfortable sleep. GREAT VALUE, VERY QUIET HEATER! It also provides a safety button on the bottom which cuts off the power incase it tips over.
