Tools and Hardware Reviews of Optimus H-4110 9-Inch Dish HeaterCustomer Review: Quiet, small, low power requirement, perfect for our need Summary: 5 Stars
'They' turned down the thermostat at work and forbade space heaters due to their traditional power requirements (750-1500 watts). When I saw that this only draws 300 watts, I wasn't sure if it would do the job. It DOES do the job just fine. It is a personal heater, not a space heater, and when placed under my cubicle desk pointed at my legs it warms me all over. It has no built-in thermostat (on/off switch only) but I'm fine with that. I can type again without my hands hurting from the cold.
Customer Review: Great for under a desk Summary: 5 Stars
I've had this for 4 days now, and I love it under my desk. It warms only what it's pointing at...me, and not my PC box, which is close by. Yes, you do need to be within 3 or 4 feet, and this won't heat a room, but if you're looking for something inexpensive to warm you up in one spot, this does the trick. I've dropped the heat in my house down to 65 now when I work, and I'm no longer cold. I also put it on a stool to raise the height.
Customer Review: Optimus H-4110 9-inch Dish Heater Summary: 5 Stars
This heater works very well. Quite and small, it fits under the desk. Don't expect it to heat a room. But for a small space, this directional heater is warm and effective, and this price is good. Some of the larger dish heaters oscillate, and I can't understand why you would want a directional heater to oscillate. Would seem annoying to me. You could buy three of these for the price of some of the larger ones.
Customer Review: these work amazingly! perfect for us Summary: 5 Stars
We have a 1500 watt life smart heater heats up toe 1500sq ft) for the main open floor plan space in our house. We just needed something with a little extra boost for the bedrooms and bathroom. We bought 3 of these and they work perfectly, especially for the price and the watts used. We can keep the entire house warm with 2100 watts.
Customer Review: Wonderful Small Heater Summary: 5 Stars
I live in CA, but yes it gets cold here. This heats the bottom floor of my condo to a comfortable temperature with realtive ease and all while using much much less power than my roommates old giant heater. Another great feature is the safety switch, so that if my cats knock it over, it turns ittself off. I would recommend this
