I bought this heater because I needed to provide heat for myself in a drafty environment. I was not interested in heating the room; just myself. For using only 800 watts of electricity, this heater produces a tremendous amount of heat. No fan noise; no air blowing; just heat right where you aim it. I have found that after I get warmed up, adequate heat is provided by the half-power (400 watt) setting. I am very pleased. My wife was so impressed by this heater that I had to order one for her also. And even with both of them going, the total engergy use will be the same or less than other (1500 watt) forced air space heaters.Customer Review: Just amazing!

My daughter has a small room and no wall heater, so very cold during the night. She is young and never keeps the blankets or socks on. Heater warms up the room on the low setting (400 w) I once tried the high (800 w) and it was a way to hot would be great for a medium size room. You don't have to be right in front of it to get warm which is excellent!
Bad reviews had faulty products, some things do tend to fail. There is a 3 year manufacturers warranty on this item so save the receipt and you'll do great. Read the safety instructions and unplug the heater after EVERY use. Don't be silly, guys. Stay warm!

I have been using this heater practically every day and I am very happy with it. This is probably the most compact quartz heater available and it is very easy to use. There are just two settings low (400 watts) and high (800 watts). Unlike other heaters that heat the air, quartz heaters heat objects and people directly. So, it feels like more heat for less energy. That makes this heater ideal for an open area that would be hard and expensive to heat with those other types of heaters.Also, this heater is very quiet; but you can easily see that it is on from the soothing orange glow it emits.Customer Review: soft glow, nice warm heat!

I love this little heater. I use it on the coldest days when I am either reading, watching TV or involved in a craft project. On the coldest of days when there is a chill in the air, it is like having a little piece of hot summer sun warming you. It warms the object in front of it or near it. I have used another heater of this type, but the light was way too bright. This reflects a nice warm glow. The price is super and If I get a year or two use out of it, I will be very happy. I recommend this radiant heater because it works well, is light weight and can be used almost anywhere.Customer Review: good heater at low price

nice little heater works well , if it holds up to daily use will be a great
deal, checked output with kil a watt meter 398 watts on low 796 watts on
high, for the last 4 years have been using oil filled radiator heaters
have now switched to infared radiant heaters like this one, they feel
twice as warm for the same electric cost, must be within two to three feet
to get full effect from this heater, i am going on line to buy a second
one, dont know how long the quartz tubes will last or if they are replaceable guess i will find out.
