My husband had one of those tie racks with the pegs that stick out like nails. He has too many ties, they get overcrowded, then he has to overlap ties on each peg.
I bought this item with his ties in mind. The rack holds 60 of his ties without overlapping. He can see the color on one side then swing the arms out to choose a tie without disturbing the others. The rubberized arms keep the ties from sliding off. Also, he can now keep his ties in the closet, dust free, instead of hanging them on the back of the door.
The rack is a good weight and seems well built. It takes up little space in the closet. We are pleased with the way this item solved our problem.
