Au Lac Designs helps artisans living in rural areas south of Ha Noi achieve self-sufficiency by supplementing their inconsistent rice-farming income with wages earned from the sale of their beautiful crafts.

Since 2001, Au Lac designs has focused on strengthening community infrastructure in rice farming communities in Vietnam. Empowered to run their own businesses, artisans are able to work from their homes in Hanoi, to care for their children and sustain the growth and futures of their families.
